Home Buyer Workshop

Home Buyer Workshop

Is This The Market For You To Buy?

The workshop showed us the details of the process of buying a house -- it showed things I didn't know.

Catalina

Because you're reading this, I know one thing about you... you are ready to start the exciting, but frought with potential danger, home buying process!

There's a lot to think about and consider these days. Where will the Toronto real estate market be headed in the next 1-3 years? What are house and condo prices doing? Is it a buyer’s or seller’s market now? Should I stay renting or start exploring my options?

These are all valuable, valid questions that you need to have the answers to.

That's why you're invited to a free Home Buyer Workshop which will educate you about the home buying market in Toronto, how the process of purchasing a house or condo works in a 'neutral' market (finally)and help you avoid making serious mistakes that could cost you thousands of dollars.

Avoid Making Serious Home Buying Mistakes...

Very informative. We've been looking for an overview -- what's first? Then what? This answered that.

Carolyn & Mike

Many Toronto house or condominium buyers have many fears and concerns when they start thinking about purchasing their new home. There's the neighbourhood to consider and how to buy in the right price range so they won't 'drown' in a mortgage payment.

Some buyers are concerned about what hidden costs there are when you purchase a home. Others are afraid of not being able to keep up the mortgage payments or losing their job.

Obviously there are many benefits to getting away from a rental situation or living at home... stop wasting money paying someone else's mortgage, improving their living environment and space or perhaps a move closer to work.

Often the goal is to final start building an asset... still possible even when the appreciation rate is slower than it has been in recent years!

Before you start actually looking for the home that you want to buy, you should get educated! Find out how the home buying process really works, learn how to "hire" a Buyer Agent, find out why getting a full pre-approval for a mortgage before starting to look is the smart thing to do.

Only then should you actually start going out with a Realtor to view potential houses or condominiums which might fit your needs!

Take a look at the video of some recent attendees...

To Register For The Next Home Buyer Workshop...

I attended your workshop Saturday morning and I wanted to thank you for all the information you (and the other speakers) provided. I have been to a number of workshops where they have solely been sales pitches to lure you to their office, and I have learned nothing.

Your seminar has opened my eyes and made me realize that there are people out there to support me and that buying a home doesn't have to be a terrifying experience.

Jaime

Once you have registered, you will receive a pre-workshop package by surface mail or email giving you the exact location and a confirmation of your attendance.

Don't delay - there are only 15-20 seats available at each workshop location. We do reserve the right to limit registration at specific locations.

If you do have to cancel once you've registered, please notify us immediately to free up the seat for someone else. We'd be pleased to register you for another upcoming workshop. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we can invite someone from our waiting list to attend.

Do NOT register if you plan to purchase a brand new house.  This seminar is designed for the purchasing of a resale house or condo OR a brand new condominium!

There are other brief home buyer workshops out there which are nothing more than an opportunity for an agent to promote him- or herself!  This workshop is intensive and is designed for people who seriously want to improve their knowledge of house or condo buying in Toronto.

The workshop is about 3.5 hours long with a break part way through.  If you can't spend the entire time at the workshop on a particular date, it may be better to reschedule.  You'd regret missing any part of it!
