Located just east of Jarvis and just north of Carlton, there is virtually nothing necessary to your day-to-day living that is not within a short walk or short ride. This botanical jewel includes six greenhouses covering 4,900 square meters of beautiful plants from around the world. These are supplemented by colourful, seasonal shows. The centre piece is the historic, cast-iron and glass domed “Palm House”. It was built in 1910. Riverdale Farm is close by—tour the Farm's scenic 7.5 acres along pathways through wooded areas, around ponds, and into butterfly-herb-flower-vegetable gardens, stop and see the farm animals.
